Kids love crafts.
Whenever my girls are deep in a project – often covered in paint and glue in the process – there’s an obvious look of satisfaction on their faces as they flex their creative muscles. And once the project is finished, they beam with pride over their sense of accomplishment.
Some parents love to research and design crafts for their children. But many creatively-challenged adults can’t think of anything more daunting. (Hand raised here!)
That’s where art subscription boxes can help. Seven of the nine boxes for kids listed below offer a ready-made craft project, usually with a fun twist.
While some boxes offer straight-forward projects for kids, others combine the project with other elements, such a book tie-in or donating their craft to a worthy charitable cause. Other subscription boxes provide art and craft supplies – allowing the recipient to use them however they wish.
